description Objetivo: Investigar los principales elementos de riesgo asociados a miomatosis uterina en pacientes atendidos en el servicio de gineco-obstetricia del hospital Santa Rosa Lima-Perú durante el año 2023-2024. Método: Observacional, analítico, casos y controles, retrospectivo, cuantitativo. Resultados: Las féminas con precedente hereditario de miomatosis uterina (84.6%), OR: 17.91 presentan una mayor prevalencia y propensión a desarrollar fibromatosis uterina. Aquellas femeninas con adiposidad excesiva (58.6%); OR: 8.73, exhiben una frecuencia incrementada y un mayor riesgo de dicha patología. En cuanto al segmento etario comprendido entre 31 y 40 primaveras (73.3%); OR: 19.9, se observa una tendencia superior y un aumento de la vulnerabilidad hacia la fibromatosis uterina. Las mujeres nulíparas (66.7%); OR: 4.75, también evidencian una elevada incidencia y un riesgo significativo de padecer esta condición. Conclusiones: El antecedente genético, la presencia de obesidad, la franja de edad entre 31 y 40 años, y la ausencia de partos previos representan los principales detonantes asociados al desarrollo de fibromatosis uterina en las pacientes tratadas en la unidad de gineco- obstetricia del Hospital Santa Rosa.
