| Sumario: | The relationship between communication and education has been widely discussed by countless authors. The importance of this relationship is enhanced when we talk about a particular case such as that of the community of Cantagallo (Lima), where the only intercultural bilingual education school (EIB) is located in an urban context, which highlights a diversity of customs , worldviews and languages. This research analyzes, highlights and assesses the significance of communication and its practices for intercultural bilingual education, identifying experiences, contextual aspects and roles that may influence the management, quality and continuity of the process that aims to train students. Through the analysis of the communication forms used by teachers, students and parents of the EIB Comunidad Shipiba de Cantagallo school, it is concluded that these serve as support and dynamize the educational process, and are also a tool used to improve the quality and effectiveness of the service provided. The research has an exploratory scope, is qualitative and uses ethnography, in-depth interviews, bibliographic review and non-participant observation of the communicative practices used as data collection techniques, which allows verifying that these are conditioned by factors contextual issues related to the progress of the campus and the work of the participating actors. |
