In this context, it is recognized that leadership plays a crucial role in organizations. For this reason, the objective of this research is to identify the relationship between leadership and work stress in organizations through the review of scientific articles that studied these two variables. A systematic search was conducted, following the guidelines of the PRISMA guide (Page et al., 2021) in the Scopus, Ebsco, Web of Science and ProQuest databases, selecting 10 research studies that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The findings showed that there is a relationship between leadership and work stress, which may be direct or inverse depending on the leader's style or behaviors. In addition, leadership moderates the effects of job stress on other variables. Future research should consider recent world events and other leadership styles not studied in this research.En la actualidad, diferentes investigaciones han hecho visible el incremento del estrés laboral en los trabajadores y sus efectos negativos en la salud, siendo primordial la identificación de factores asociados. En este sentido, se reconoce que el liderazgo desempeña un papel crucial en las organizaciones. Por tal motivo, el objetivo de esta investigación es identificar la relación entre el liderazgo y el estrés laboral en las organizaciones a través de la revisión de artículos científicos que estudiaron estas dos variables. Se realizó una búsqueda sistemática, siguiendo los lineamientos de la guía PRISMA (Page et al., 2021) en las bases de datos de Scopus, Ebsco, Web of Science y ProQuest, seleccionándose 10 investigaciones que cumplían con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión planteados. Los hallazgos demostraron que existe una relación entre el liderazgo y el estrés laboral, pudiendo ser directa o inversa dependiendo del estilo o conductas del líder. Además, el liderazgo modera los efectos del estrés laboral en otras variables.
