| Sumario: | The project was developed between November 2018 and May 2019, it had a main sponsor, a project manager, a consultant, role played by me, a functional leader who was also a tool administrator, an IT services supervisor who led a network administrator, and a security administrator. The budget was 14,857 soles. The project covered the analysis and submission of technical requirements, installation, content migration and implementation of services, incidents support, documentation, and a brief training. The challenges of the project were the delays of the IT providers of the client, to solve technical incidents in the procedures and the resignation of the technical leader, however, the activities could be fulfilled by performing a proper management with those involved and SAP. Among the main benefits are: higher productivity of users by increasing the self-service of information, optimization of licensing costs, more precise processes such as costing and billing, better reallocation of medical resources, which will influence to have a better quality of care to the patients. The main recommendations are: improve levels of service agreement (SLA) with the provider, continue with the Autodiscovery, document the security assignment and learn about the backup procedure. As lessons learned, the future BI projects must be prioritized, involve all roles in meetings, define support roles and simulate new technical procedures. |
