The objective of the research is to identify the relationship between attachment styles and the consumption of psychoactive substances in adolescents. A search was carried out in databases to obtain research involving these variables and studies that met the inclusion-exclusion criteria (n=10) were selected using the PRISMA guide. It was found that there is a relationship between attachment styles and substance consumption in adolescents, in addition, it was evidenced that different attachment styles can be a protective or risk factor towards substance consumption and addiction. No research was found applied to the Peruvian context, this highlights the importance of replicating this research in the Peruvian reality.

El estilo de apego es el patrón de relación interpersonal que emerge cuando una persona establece contacto con otra. Se basa en representaciones mentales de uno mismo, de los demás y del vínculo. El objetivo de la investigación es identificar la relación entre los estilos de apego y el consumo de sustancias psicoactivas en adolescentes. Se realizó una búsqueda en bases de datos para la obtención de investigaciones que involucren estas variables y se seleccionó estudios que cumplan con los criterios de inclusión-exclusión (n=10) utilizando la guía PRISMA. Se encontró que existe una relación entre los estilos de apego y el consumo de sustancias en adolescentes, además, se evidenció que los diferentes estilos de apego pueden considerarse un factor protector o de riesgo hacia el consumo y adicción a sustancias.
