In the following work, the pre-feasibility study for the implementation of a soap-producing plant will be carried out. For this case, avocado will be used as the main raw material; a fruit that in recent years has been used in greater quantity in the industry thanks to its high vitamin value, the benefits that these bring for health care in people and the new tendencies to consume natural products; in addition to complementary natural inputs that add value to a product such as this. The pre-feasibility study will begin with the approach of the research problem, objectives, justification, and hypotheses. This will serve for the development of the theoretical framework and the research methodologies to be used. As part of the body of the research, we will use the selected methodologies for the study and evaluation of different aspects to consider when implementing a project like this. In the first place, the study of the market, location of the plant, its size based on variables such as raw material, investment, and balance point; They will give us a perspective of the viability and focus of the creation of this project. Then, the study of the project's engineering and plant layout will be a key piece to understand the process to be developed within this plant, as well as the space necessary to consider for its proper realization. As a last point, we will analyze the economic and financial aspects under indicators of achievement of objectives, as well as social aspects and business risks that entail the execution of a project like this.
