Los estudios no son del todo detallados, olvidan el aspecto económico y financiero. Esta ausencia doctrinaria se debe a que más interés genera el desarrollo garantías per se que el teorizar sobre los cimientos de las instituciones; a ello se suma el hecho que nuestro Código Civil entra al tratamiento directo de las garantías reales (hipoteca, anticresis y derecho de retención), sin partir de disposiciones generales que presenten el marco dogmático para su desarrollo. El estudio de la teoría general de los Derechos reales de garantías es fundamental a fin de comprender la base en común que tienen estas figuras.Peru has a doctrinal development of the general theory of security rights. These studies are not completely detailed, they forget the economic and financial aspect. This absence of doctrine is due to the fact that more interest is generated by the development of guarantees per se than by theorizing on the foundations of institutions; to this is added the fact that our Civil Code enters into the direct treatment of real guarantees (mortgage, antichresis and right of retention), without starting from general provisions that present the dogmatic framework for their development.
