The situation which caused the highest intensity of the four effects was "someone else gets credit for what you have done", followed by "you do the same work as someone else and get paid less than him o her". The intensity of the negative affects caused by these situations is an evidence of the importance that students give to equity as a social value. |

The intensity of the negative affects caused by these situations is an evidence of the importance that students give to equity as a social value.Un total de 326 estudiantes (163 hombres y 163 mujeres, entre 16 y 22 años) de una universidad privada de Lima Metropolitana evaluaron en una escala de cero (0) (nada) a cuatro (4) (intensamente) 23 situaciones de comparación social como causas de cuatro afectos negativos: celos/envidia, cólera, tristeza y desconcierto. La situación que provocó la mayor intensidad en los cuatro afectos fue "alguien recibe créditos y reconocimiento por algo que tú has hecho", seguida por "haces el mismo trabajo que otra persona pero recibes menor pago que ella".
