The topic is approached in an exploratory manner, based on the selection of the Peruvian and Uruguayan systems.En este artículo se presentan y distinguen medidas que tradicionalmente se ubicaban todas dentro del género de lo cautelar, pero que en los últimos años se han tratado de identificar con mayor precisión. La distinción entre estas medidas es relevante, entre otras razones porque sus requisitos no son idénticos, no todas ellas se admiten en los mismos casos y el procedimiento para adoptarlas debe ser distinto, por razones claramente justificadas.
