| Sumario: | As the use of new technologies increases, the damages caused by the improper personal data processing are more frequent nationwide and around the world. Therefore, it is important to know how companies and individuals causing this type of damage civilly respond, as it will be an important tool for, among other effects, discouraging the proliferation of this type of damage and efficiently determining its cost. To this end, we will analyze if the Personal Data Protection Law and its regulations state a special civil liability regime and subsequently analyze and apply the proper regulations of the Civil Code. |
