La Guía discute, primero, el sentido de lo que es una investigación en Estadística, disciplina que no solo es una herramienta central en toda investigación cuantitativa, sino que es también objeto propio de investigación. A continuación, se desarrolla el cómo planificar una investigación en esta especialidad en todas sus etapas y se sugiere la estructura de una monografía en el área mediante un esquema que contiene su código LaTeX con notas aclaratorias que guían la redacción de un trabajo de tesis de pregrado. Finalmente, para ilustrar los diferentes tópicos desarrollados a lo largo de esta Guía, se presentan tres ejemplos de proyectos de investigación: dos aplicados y uno teórico, junto con sus respectivas referencias bibliográficas.spaPontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
