| Sumario: | This paper aims to analyze the importance of maintaining a technical criterion in the legal interpretation used by the consumer protection authority (Indecopi), for the resolution of conflicts arising from the provision of financial services. Likewise, the role played by the legal mechanism provided for in the Consumer Protection and Defense Code, the conditions of its application and the limits it presents. Finally, a brief reflection is presented on the dynamics between financial regulation and consumer protection that operates in this market. |
