I argue immanent critique to be a solid methodological proposal that allows to address and clarify social pathologies in the contemporary context. To this end, I bring the methodology and normative considerations of immanent critique into dialogue with the anthropological analysis of the concept of gender from the works of Joan Scott and Marta Lamas.El objetivo general de este texto es plantear una aproximación al concepto de género desde la crítica inmanente a la ideología propuesta por Rahel Jaeggi y considerando algunas de las contribuciones de Sally Haslanger en relación a los desafíos y tareas de la Teoría crítica. Sostengo que la crítica inmanente es una buena propuesta metodológica que permite abordar y clarificar patologías sociales en el mundo contemporáneo.
