Descripción
Sumario:The impact of emotional intelligence (EI) on post-crisis organizational sustainability—particularly in talent retention and adaptation to new adversities—constitutes the central focus of this research. The objective was to analyze the relationship between the implementation of EI programs and the organization’s adaptive capacity after periods of crisis. Recent studies show that EI strengthens resilience and effective leadership, promoting more human and innovative management (Achilike Nwaoboli, 2024; Attah et al., 2024). According to Bataineh et al. (2025), EI enhances organizational resilience through transformational leadership, while Rosero Ordóñez (2025) highlights the importance of transparency and institutional adaptation as foundations for sustainability. A mixed-methods design was applied: surveys were conducted with 400 employees from companies implementing EI programs, and interviews were held with 20 business leaders to identify practices and perceptions. The results showed that organizations with EI programs achieved an 80% retention rate, compared to 60% in those without such programs, and demonstrated greater adaptability and resilience. It is concluded that EI, when integrated into organizational culture, strengthens post-crisis resilience, although its sustainability requires a comprehensive approach combining innovation, leadership, and emotional management.
