Finally, the author sets the relationship between this German product and other laws that appeared in countries influenced by it.En este artículo, el autor realiza una aproximación histórica a la Parte General del Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch, realizando importantes anotaciones sobre el contexto político y social en el que se gestó. Asimismo, ello supone una revisión del proceso de producción de esta norma, en términos de comisiones y trabajos preliminares.Para lograr esta caracterización, se hace un recorrido por algunas de las críticas más agudas que se realizaron a los intentos de codificación, y por el debate surgido en torno a la existencia misma de una Parte General o incluso de una codificación para el entorno germano.
