Objetivo: Determinar la correlación entre la variación hemodinámica en los pacientes, posoperados en el Servicio de Cirugía Bucomaxilofacial (SCBMF) del Centro Dental Docente (CDD) de la Facultad de Estomatología (FAEST) de la Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (UPCH) entre el 2015 y 2019. Materiales y Métodos: Estudio retrospectivo, descriptivo, longitudinal. El procedimiento realizado fue seleccionar todas las historias clínicas de los pacientes operados de cirugía ortognática que cumplan con los criterios de selección. La información fue analizada con la prueba estadística de T-Student, Chi-Cuadrado, Mc Nemar y correlación de Pearson. Resultados: Existe un incremento significativo en la frecuencia cardiaca durante el posoperatorio inmediato, a las 6H, 12H y 18H; en la frecuencia respiratoria a las 6H, 12H y 18H. El fluido más administrado fue el ClNa y el menos administrado fue la sulfonamida. La cirugía bimaxilar con mentoplastia fue la que reportó un mayor sangrado. Se encontró asociación lineal entre el VSP y la FC a las 12H posoperatoria. Los fármacos más administrados fueron los antibióticos y cortico esteroides. Conclusión: Ningún paciente mostró una variación hemodinámica posoperatoria, significativa asociada al VSP en las cirugías ortognáticas.

Objective: To determine the correlation between hemodynamic variation in postoperative patients in the Buccomaxillofacial Surgery Service. Materials and Methods: Retrospective, descriptive, longitudinal and cohort study. The procedure performed was to select all the medical records of patients undergoing orthognathic surgery that met the selection criteria. The information was analyzed with the statistical test T-Student, Chi-Square, Mc Nemar and Pearson’s correlation. Results: There is a significant increase in heart rate during the immediate postoperative period, at 6H, 12H and 18H; in respiratory rate at 6H, 12H and 18H. The most administered fluid was ClNa, while the least was sulfonamide. Bimaxillary surgery + mentoplasty reported the most bleeding. A linear association was found between lost blood volume and respiratory rate at 12H postoperatively. The most commonly administered drugs were antibiotics and corticosteroids.
