Sumario:Background: In the case of childhood, it is important that the parents or the child’s caregiver have the necessary knowledge to prevent or limit the progression of pathologies that affect their minor children. Objective: Determine the association between the mother´s access to health information and access of children under 12 years of age in Perú to oral health information, year 2018. Methods and Materials: The study was cross-sectional. The population consisted of 42 950 records of children under 12 years of age from the ENDES base, from 2018 of single period applying the exclusion and inclusion criteria, the final sample was made up of 27 910. The variables were the mother´s access to health information; access to information on oral health, of children under 12 years of age, area of residence, natural region, place of residence, health insure, wealth quintile, age and sex. The chi-square test was used at 95% CI, RP and RPa. Results: Access to information on maternal health and access of children under 12 years of age to information on oral health, there is no association between the variables RP=0.99 (IC 95% :0.965-1.02) and when considering the co- variables there is no association Rpa =1.00( IC 95%: 096-1.03) Conclusion: There is no association between the mother´s access to health information and access of children under 12 years of age in Perú to oral health information, 2018 year.
