The methodology used is based on the analysisof literary review. Categories were established to clarify the relationship of the main concepts, highlighting relevant aspects in the evolution of technologies and the way in which they led to the inclusion of innovative strategies, in order to enhance the teaching and learning process. As a result of the bibliographic review, a strong relationship between ICT and gamification in the educational field was determined, due to the evolution of resources that have emerged over time to connect the student more with their learning. It was concluded that gamification can be progressively incorporated into educational experiences, and that, apart from having components based on game mechanics, it can be a highly considered element in teaching, as a strategy that motivates students to engage more. with your learning. In addition, it was determined that a favorable level of knowledge of the teacher is required in relation to emerging technologies to propose scenarios that challenge the student in a virtual community.El objetivo de la investigación es analizar diversos aportes bibliográficos en los cuales se identifique la relación de las tecnologías de información y comunicación (TIC) con el proceso de gamificación para beneficiar una comunidad virtual de aprendizaje. La metodología que se utilizó está basada en el análisis de revisión literaria. Se establecieron categorías para esclarecer la relación de los conceptos principales, destacando aspectos relevantes en la evolución de las tecnologías y en la manera en que estas propiciaron la inclusión de estrategias novedosas, con el fin de potenciar el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje. Como resultado de la revisión bibliográfica se determinó una fuerte relación de las TIC con la gamificación en el campo educativo, debido a la evolución de recursos que han ido surgiendo en el tiempo para conectar más al estudiante con su aprendizaje. Se concluyó que la gamificación puede ser incorporada en experiencias educativas de manera progresiva, y que, al margen de tener componentes basados en mecánicas de juego, puede ser un elemento muy considerado en la enseñanza, como una estrategia que motive a los estudiantes a comprometerse más con su aprendizaje.
