However, it faces challenges such as lack of quality data, limited infrastructure and challenges in integration with traditional methods. AI, combined with conservation practices, has great potential to transform environmental management, provided that obstacles related to access, training and ethical use are overcome.El uso de la inteligencia artificial (IA) en la preservación de ecosistemas y biodiversidad, destacando sus aplicaciones en el monitoreo de especies, predicción de cambios ecosistémicos, detección de actividades ilegales y educación ambiental. Se resaltan beneficios como el análisis rápido de datos, la restauración eficiente de ecosistemas y la colaboración global mediante plataformas integradas. Sin embargo, enfrenta desafíos como la falta de datos de calidad, infraestructura limitada y retos en la integración con métodos tradicionales.
