During the evolution, the political project of restoring the Tahuantinsuyo and creating the new Ancash region was expanded. The revolution did not prosper and its leaders were executed by firearm or poisoned to die tragically, immolating themselves as the most emblematic popular heroes of the 19th century. A series of paintings and images illustrate those events in our social history, making that tragedy more understandable wjich substantially affected the most excluded sectors of our society.El presente ensayo tiene por objetivo explicar las causas, el proceso y las consecuencias de la revolución campesina liderada por Pedro Pablo Atusparia y Pedro Cochachin en 1885 contra el tributo indígena conocido como La República, por la cual se exigía trabajos gratuitos de manera arbitraria a los miembros de las comunidades de la localidad. Durante la evolución se amplió el proyecto político de restaurar el Tahuantinsuyo y crear la nueva región ancashina. La revolución no prosperó y sus líderes fueron fusilados o envenenados para morir trágicamente inmolándose como los héroes populares más emblemáticos del siglo XIX.
