The sites of Cerro Azul, Cerro de Oro, Canchari and Ungara stand out, on which their main characteristics are presented, relevant in terms of the articulation with the particular territories and their correlation with the environmental conditions and the cyclicity of astronomical phenomena. With this accumulation of social experiences, architecture becomes social memory, and many of its spaces and the logic of their organization have deep contents of rituality, sacredness and symbolism, supported by Andean cosmologies.A partir de los trabajos de campo realizados en el valle bajo de Cañete, con especial atención en los asentamientos de mayor relevancia arquitectónica pertenecientes al señorío Huarco y reutilizados por las sociedades inca en la expansión del Tawantinsuyu, se observan los criterios de planificación utilizados para la localización, ubicación, distribución espacial, diseño y construcción, con las correspondientes transformaciones del territorio, que implica una consciencia sobre las necesidades vitales y las formas de subsistencia, así como un profundo conocimiento de los ciclos ecológicos locales. Destacan los sitios de Cerro Azul, Cerro de Oro, Canchari y Ungara, sobre los que se presentan sus principales características, relevantes en cuanto a la articulación con los territorios particulares y su correlación con las condiciones ambientales y la ciclicidad de los fenómenos astronómicos.
