However, today there is the incorporation of innovative products for its elaboration, such as molten steel. The purpose of this paper is to carry out a literature review on the effects of the use of molten steel as aggregate in concrete in order to see its mechanical properties and its behavior, being adequate to counteract the cracks that occur in this material. A review of 50 refereed and indexed articles was made. The keywords used were: use of concretes using molten steel as aggregates and molten steel fi bers. Finally, from the review, it is concluded that designs are usually obtained with biaxial behavior and multiaxial stresses instead of uniaxial stresses and high resistance capacity.  Keywords: cast steel – concrete – compressive – fl exural and compressive strengthLa industria de la construcción está compuesta de diversos materiales, cuyos componentes deben desempeñar un papel fundamental, tal es el caso del concreto, que depende principalmente de las propiedades del cemento y de los agregados que lo conforman, sin embargo, hoy en día se está dando la incorporación de productos innovadores para su elaboración, como es el acero fundido. El presente documento tiene como objetivo realizar una revisión de literatura sobre los efectos que produce la utilización de aceros fundidos como agregado en el concreto, de tal manera ver sus propiedades mecánicas y su comportamiento, siendo adecuado de tal manera que permite contrarrestar las fisuras que se presentan en dicho material. Se hizo una revisión de 50 artículos arbitrados e indexados. Seguidamente las palabras claves fueron: Use of concretes using molten steel as aggregates, what are molten steel fibers. Finalmente, a partir de la revisión se concluye que se obtienen diseños normalmente con comportamientos biaxial y tensiones multiaxiales en lugar de tensiones uniaxial, además de alta capacidad de resistencia.
