Already integrated into the peruvian academic environment, published important books on experimental psychology and psychology of learning.El presente trabajo trata de la presencia de Walter Blumenfeld, psicólo­go alemán de origen judío, en el desarrollo de la psicología en el Perú. Este científico, que debió huir de su país debido a su ancestro judío, se debió adaptar a un medio desconocido, sin conocer el idioma, y en el que abundaban prejuicios antisemitas y la vigencia de una corriente psicológica contraria a la psicología experimental, que él introdujo en el Perú.
