With an approach from the critical sociology of intellectuals, which relates the biography of both authors, of the subjects of ideas with their reflections or creations with the specific society in which they arise and act.El presente estudio busca proveer elementos que ayuden a comprender el sentido de las obras de Eguren y Arguedas, autores fundamentales del campo intelectual peruano, a la luz de sus procesos biográficos, derroteros vitales, ubicándolos en el incipiente campo intelectual y conocer las relaciones que establecieron con sus pares, y como expresaron dos vías distintas de incorporación al campo intelectual peruano.
