| Sumario: | This article is based on a technical study of six copies of the Peruvian Traditions belonging to the Ricardo Palma collection of the National Library, which was the basis for the preparation of the final report of the Directorate for the Protection of Collections of the BNP. This report converted into a project, was presented to the Ministry of Culture, an institution that finally resolved, in May 2019, to declare the first complete edition of six volumes of the Peruvian Traditions (1893-1910) as Cultural Heritage of the Nation.
