These provide an explanation for a substantial part of the function of production in the Peruvian economy between 1960 and 1990. The use of these variables is grounded in the models of growth with endogenous technical progress, which suggest that an economy's growth does not depend on any single factor but a combination of them. The study confirms this fact for readers.Debido a la incapacidad de las variables tradicionales (capital físico y mano de obra) para explicar los abruptos cambios que ocurrieron en la economía peruana, especialmente a partir del año 1968, en este trabajo se han incorporado nuevas variables (capital humano, gastos del gobierno central y liquidez real). Ellas permiten explicar una parte importante de la función de producción de la economía peruana para el período 1960-1990. La incorporación de dichas variables está sustentada en los nuevos modelos de crecimiento con progreso técnico endógeno, los cuales sugieren que el crecimiento de una economía no depende de un solo factor, sino más bien de un conjunto de factores.
