This article seeks to identify the transformations in these spaces La Matanza (Argentina) during the pandemic. From a virtual ethnography on Facebook, textual narratives and images, in societies crossed by information technologies, establish new dynamics of social exchange, which allow us to describe the transformations implied by the beginning of isolation in these spaces.En el contexto de la pandemia, el Estado ha asistido a la población a través de múltiples intervenciones, entre las que se encuentran los recursos brindados y los protocolos destinados a comedores y merenderos comunitarios, que desempeñaron un rol central para paliar las consecuencias socioeconómicas desde el inicio de la pandemia de COVID-19. Este artículo busca identificar las transformaciones en dichos espacios en el municipio de La Matanza (Argentina) durante la pandemia. A partir de una etnografía virtual en Facebook, las narrativas textuales y las imágenes establecen nuevas dinámicas de intercambio social en sociedades atravesadas por las tecnologías de la información, que permiten describir las transformaciones que implicó el inicio del aislamiento en estos espacios.
