The author also studies the relationship between Trilce and Escalas Melografiadas. In the two books appear the change studied, and a critical analysis can bring new lights to reach a better understanding of the transformation from the first to the second Vallejo.Una pregunta constante de la crítica vallejiana es aquella que inquiere por las causas del cambio producido en Vallejo en aquellos años decisivos que van de 1918 a 1922, es decir de Los Heraldos Negros a Trilce. El presente trabajo intenta responder a esa cuestión, pero utilizando recientes aportes de la investigación para llevar adelante un detenido examen de las posibles explicaciones de la transformación operada en la actitud poética de Vallejo y terminar formulando una hipótesis personal.
