description The objective of the research was to determine the incidence of the leadership of the authorities and teachers in the academic quality of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences of the National University of Ucayali during 2014. The type of research was descriptive - correlational. The research design used was Non-Experimental. The population was conformed by 350 students of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences of the National University of Ucayali during the year 2014. The sample was conformed by 183 students of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences of the National University of Ucayali during the year 2014. The results Arrived in the present investigation demonstrate that the leadership, proactive, democratic and strategic of the authorities and teachers of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences of the National University of Ucayali, has a positive impact on the academic quality during 2014, since society perceives that produced graduates: with effective management of administrative management, entrepreneurs and innovators, generators of companies that contributed to the change and transformation of the social, economic and technological reality of Ucayali. El tipo de investigación fue descriptivo – correlacional. El diseño de investigación utilizado fue No Experimental. La población estuvo conformada por 350 alumnos de la Facultad de Ciencias Administrativas de la Universidad Nacional de Ucayali durante el año 2014. La muestra estuvo conformada por 183 alumnos de la Facultad de Ciencias Administrativas de la Universidad Nacional de Ucayali durante el año 2014. Los resultados llegados en la presente investigación demuestran que el liderazgo, proactivo, democrático y estratégico de las autoridades y docentes de la Facultad de Ciencias Administrativas de la Universidad Nacional del Ucayali, incide positivamente en la calidad académica durante el año 2014, ya que la sociedad percibe que produjo egresados: con dominio eficaz de la gestión administrativa, emprendedores e innovadores, generadores de empresas que contribuyó al cambio y transformación de la realidad social, económica y tecnológica de Ucayali. La conclusión llegada en la investigación fue: el liderazgo en la gestión académica que realizaron las autoridades y los docentes de la Facultad de Ciencias Administrativas de la Universidad Nacional del Ucayali, por lo tanto, la sociedad actual necesita de la formación de líderes que propicien una integración intelectual, emocional, consoliden su equipo de trabajo fortaleciendo el liderazgo enfocado a fortalecer lo académico.
