description Objective: To know the subjectivity of a breastfeeding mother based on her environment and culture. Methodology: qualitative, descriptive and phenomenological design. The data of this research were obtained from the analysis of interviews conducted with current breastfeeding mothers, between 18 and 45 years of age and residing in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As theoretical basis for this analysis were used the paradigm of complexity by Edgar Morin and the contribution of various sciences such as sociology, medicine and psychology. Results: new mothers defined the maternity construct around three central categories: lifestyle changes, feelings and perceptions. Conclusion: the majority of     the respondent mothers have proper knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding, which is related to knowing about the definition and benefits of exclusive maternal breastfeeding and how much they should breastfeed their children. Objective: to determine the psychometric properties of the “School Dropout” scale to measure the risk of school dropout in secondary school students in the city of Juliaca - 2021. Methodology: psychometric study with a quantitative approach of non-experimental and cross- sectional design, We also work with a population of 308 secondary school students, whose ages range from 10 to 16 years. The scale is made up of 16 items that evaluate 3 dimensions, which are: affective factor, academic and family factor. Results: the School Dropout scale has a validity index (V=0.99) based on evaluation criteria (clarity,  context, congruence, and mastery of the construct) based on  the judgment of 6 experts. Regarding the content validity, it was obtained through the KMO test and Bartlet's sphericity whose values (KMO=,831 value of sig.<,0.5) which indicate that the construct is appropriate for confirmatory factor analysis, which suggests that the instrument must have a content distributed by 3 factors, likewise it was found that the variance explained by three factors. Reasons that led to an analysis by structural equations, demonstrating a RMSEA=0.068; CFI= 0.816 and a TLI= 0.781. Conclusion: the scale presents an adequate adjustment and is appropriate to measure the risk of school dropout for secondary school students.
