Therefore, the objective of the article resides in reflecting on the educational and sociocultural connotations of the dialogic relationship of the curriculum with the pedagogical model. For this purpose, in the reflective exercise was contextualized from a qualitative approach, resorting to a type of exploratory-descriptive research that, based on the analysis of the documentary record, specified the state of the art of the curriculum notions and pedagogical model, as well as the typologies and theories that They support it, since its traceability places the methodological intentionality. Then, the significance of the variables analyzed was related to educational functionality. Within this methodological space, the topics to be examined in the writing had a direct correlation with the theoretical-practical interaction between the curriculum and the pedagogical model. Thus, it was concluded that the processes of teaching for learning are specified in the curriculum, but are based on the pedagogical model. In addition, the two educational elements are associated with the society and the culture that the formation of citizenship projects.La educación y su rol actual en la sociedad, es un tema en el que convergen heterogéneas percepciones y posibilidades; en particular, se ha abordado desde múltiples perspectivas inquirir cómo el currículo educativo responde a las necesidades sociales y culturales cada vez más permeables y complejas. Por ende, el objetivo del artículo reside en reflexionar las connotaciones educativas y socioculturales de la relación dialógica del currículo con el modelo pedagógico. Para tal fin, en el ejercicio reflexivo se contextualizó desde un enfoque cualitativo recurriendo a un tipo de investigación exploratorio-descriptivo que asentado en el análisis del registro documental precisó el estado del arte de las nociones currículo y modelo pedagógico, así como las tipologías y teorías que la respaldan, puesto que su trazabilidad emplaza la intencionalidad metodológica. Luego, se relacionó la trascendencia de las variables analizadas con la funcionalidad educativa. Dentro de este espacio metodológico, las temáticas a examinar en el escrito tuvieron correlación directa con la interacción teórico-practica entre el currículo y modelo pedagógico. Así se concluyó que los procesos de enseñanza para el aprendizaje se concretan en el currículo, pero se sustentan en el modelo pedagógico.
