This article addresses the exchange of knowledge between university student researchers and students in basic education, particularly between the 7th and 9th grades, in riverside communities in the Paraense Amazon, within the scope of the "Entre Marés" project. This initiative, developed in communities in the municipalities of Maracanã and Magalhães Barata, Pará/Brazil, emerges from a joint effort by students from the Landscape and Environmental Planning Study Group (GEPPAM) at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA). The main objective is to promote environmental awareness towards the appreciation and preservation of natural and cultural heritage in these riverside locations, through an active and participatory interaction between scientific knowledge and local wisdom. The methodological plan focused on the integration of all participating actors. The implementation of a participatory work plan is highlighted, including oral presentations, the production of "speaking maps" by students emphasizing the importance of environmental education, and the identification of areas vulnerable and/or impacted by tourism activities. The collection of seeds and seedlings from local vegetation is also emphasized as part of practical activities, highlighting the importance of community action in preserving coastal ecosystems. This project highlights the importance and potential observed in the dialogue between scientific knowledge and local wisdom as a path toward environmental conservation and sustainability. The results obtained, therefore, reveal the relevance of this collaborative approach in promoting an active environmental consciousness and encouraging preservation practices at the community level. |

Essa iniciativa, desenvolvida em comunidades dos municípios de Maracanã e Magalhães Barata, Pará/Brasil, emerge de um esforço conjunto de estudantes do Grupo de Estudos Paisagem e Planejamento Ambiental (GEPPAM) da Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA). O objetivo principal é promover uma sensibilização ambiental no sentido da valorização e preservação do patrimônio natural e cultural nessas localidades ribeirinhas, por meio de uma interação ativa e participativa entre o conhecimento científico e os saberes locais. O plano metodológico focou-se na integração de todos os atores participantes. Destaca-se a implementação de um plano de trabalho participativo que inclui exposições orais, a produção de "mapas falantes" pelos estudantes com ênfase a importância da educação ambiental, identificação de áreas vulneráveis e/ou impactadas pela atividade do turismo. Ressalta-se também a coleta de sementes e mudas de vegetação local como parte das atividades práticas, destacando a importância da ação comunitária na preservação dos ecossistemas costeiros. Este projeto evidencia a importância e o potencial observado no diálogo entre conhecimento científico e saberes locais como um caminho para a conservação ambiental e sustentabilidade. Os resultados obtidos, portanto, revelam a relevância desse enfoque colaborativo na promoção de uma consciência ambiental ativa e no estímulo a práticas de preservação em nível comunitário.Este artículo aborda el intercambio de conocimientos entre estudiantes investigadores universitarios y estudiantes de educación básica, especialmente entre el 7º y 9º año, en comunidades ribereñas de la Amazonía paraense, en el marco del proyecto "Entre Marés". Esta iniciativa, desarrollada en comunidades de los municipios de Maracanã y Magalhães Barata, Pará/Brasil, surge de un esfuerzo conjunto de estudiantes del Grupo de Estudios Paisaje y Planificación Ambiental (GEPPAM) de la Universidad Federal de Pará (UFPA). El objetivo principal es promover la conciencia ambiental en relación con la valorización y preservación del patrimonio natural y cultural en estas localidades ribereñas, a través de una interacción activa y participativa entre el conocimiento científico y los saberes locales. El plan metodológico se centró en la integración de todos los actores participantes. Se destaca la implementación de un plan de trabajo participativo que incluye exposiciones orales, la producción de "mapas parlantes" por parte de los estudiantes con énfasis en la importancia de la educación ambiental, la identificación de áreas vulnerables y/o afectadas por la actividad turística. También se destaca la recolección de semillas y plántulas de la vegetación local como parte de las actividades prácticas, subrayando la importancia de la acción comunitaria en la preservación de los ecosistemas costeros. Este proyecto evidencia la importancia y el potencial observado en el diálogo entre el conocimiento científico y los saberes locales como un camino hacia la conservación ambiental y la sostenibilidad.
