The population was made up of 185 individuals and the sample was 127 among teachers and students. Two questionnaires were used, one on organizational culture, and another questionnaire on teacher performance. The results showed that there is a considerable positive relationship between organizational culture and teaching performance, there is an average level of organizational culture of 75%, and an average teaching performance of 63%, which indicates that if the organizational culture is high, then teacher performance will also be high or viceversa.La cultura organizacional, es importante para comprender el éxito o fracaso de una gestión, nos ayuda a conocer la problemática que podría darse en una organización, el presente estudio trata la relación de la cultura organizacional con el desempeño docente de la Institución Educativa Mariano Melgar de Breña, con el objetivo de analizar esta relación y conocer sus efectos. La población estuvo conformada por 185 individuos y la muestra fue de 127 entre docentes y alumnos. Se utilizaron dos cuestionarios, uno sobre la cultura organizacional, y otro cuestionario sobre desempeño docente.
