As distrust grows, the migration towards social networks where the users can demonstrate their existence with photographs and comments as is the case in Facebook or Wattsapp didn´t came as a surprise. These “nowhere places” are perceived as spaces of social islation that allow a virtual fantasy.Se analizan las consecuencias de las redes sociales en los últimos 5 años desde dos tipos de mediadores sociales: el Messenger y el Facebook. Para ello se describe los mecanismos del chat, como modo de interacción en tiempo real, para ahondar en el modo en que las juventudes vienen construyendo nuevas formas socialización a través de códigos especializados. Al acrecentarse la desconfianza la migración hacia redes sociales en donde los usuarios demostrarían su existencia gracias a sus fotos y comentarios como el Facebook o WattsApp no se hizo esperar.
