Also, the little discussed facet of Valdizán as Secretary of the Faculty who served as more than an administrative fee. The biography of Huanuco teacher is referring to a specific job (Hermilio Valdizán, Psychiatry Project of Peru Lima, 1981). Exams and their contribution to psychiatry and teaching ("Hermilio Valdizán and Psychiatry Peruvian", Lima, 1980), traditional medicine ("Hermilio Valdizán, comparative psychiatry and folk medicine", Buenos Aires, 1980), to psychiatric care, scientific publicismo at periodismo, relevant to specific topics ("Valdizán and the concept of Peruvians, Lima, 1987), etc., are referred to their original sources, in the sake of brevity.Esta nota se circunscribe a revisar el paso de Hermilio Valdizán por las aulas sanmarquinas y, principalmente, por la Facultad de Medicina de San Fernando. Además de su desempeño como alumno primero, como docente después, se recalca toda la importante labor histórica centrada en la Facultad de Medicina, los Anales de la Facultad de Medicina, el estudio de la Medicina y de los Médicos en el Perú. Asimismo, la poco examinada faceta de Valdizán como Secretario de la Facultad que cumplió como algo más que un cargo administrativo. La biografía del maestro huanuqueño es referida a un trabajo específico (Hermilio Valdizán. El Proyecto de una Psiquiatría Peruana Lima, 1981).
