Sumario:Introduction. Technology offers a different approach regarding learning abilities and the activities that students engage in using communication tools such as WhatsApp. Objective. To describe the assessment of the WhatsApp application for collaborative work in post-graduate students of health services management. Methods. A quantitative, prospective, cross-sectional study. The Questionnaire to assess the use of WhatsApp for regulating group work, composed of 59 questions and 4 dimensions was used. Results. In the dimensional analysis, the answers from low-value responses were the most frequent in all cases. Second semester students responded favorably to the use of WhatsApp, while fourth semester students had a negative response in all dimensions. Global analysis showed that 32,9% of students refers high valuation and average valuation, while 34,2% results in a low scoring valuation. Conclusions. WhatsApp use have a low value respect to collaborative work in post-graduate students.
