This paper considers an approach that focuses its analysis on the hypothesis that the subjects of past societies have had diverse sexual expressions and practices, decentralized from a fixed identityconstruction and under a richer and more fluid sexuality practices.Con el presente artículo se pretende iniciar un campo para la reflexión y el debate en torno a los estudios de sexualidad en el periodo prehispánico, desde un enfoque sociológico y usando evidencia material arqueológica existente, considerando que hasta el momento ambas disciplinas no han coincidido en la labor de la interpretación sobre dicho tema.
