Se presenta la coyuntura actual del gobierno de Pedro Castillo y se compara con el gobierno de Ollanta Humala, sus relaciones con los movimientos sociales, partidos y grupos de izquierda que luego de juramentar los olvidaron como aliados, así como también olvidaron sus promesas electorales y programa de gobierno de cambio estructurales como el de proponer una nueva constitución. Rescatamos que Slater escribió que el gobierno de Velasco trato de realizar los cambios estructurales pero al no lograrlo al tratar de imponerlo a los que decían representar, intento modificar la economía, al crear empresas estatales pero no fueron en los sectores estratégicos, décadas después los gobiernos de Humala y Castillo pareciera que no solo no lograron implementar por no tener mayoría congresal, sino que no les importo modificar sus practicas políticas y sus objetivos de gobierno con tal de sobrevivir ante el establishment peruano.Este texto é um comentário ao artigo de David Slater que trata dos movimentos sociais regionais de Arequipa e Pucalpa no governo militar de 1968 - 1980, onde nos apresenta a relação entre cada uma das duas fases desse governo, sua orientação mudanças em suas políticas públicas, especialmente as econômicas e a diferença ideológica de cada fase. Apresenta-se e compara-se a situação atual do governo de Pedro Castillo com o governo de Ollanta Humala, suas relações com movimentos sociais, partidos e grupos de esquerda que depois de empossados os esqueceram como aliados, bem como suas promessas eleitorais e programa. governo de mudanças estruturais, como propor uma nova constituição.
