The character of the study was exploratory and descriptive; with the method of grounded theory start with concepts of organization and biosafety The technique of in-depth interviews using telephone calls and virtual meetings used to apply the semi-structured questionnaire. The basic unit of analysis was the organization of the comedores autogestionarios belonging to CONAMOVIDI. The case study consists of five members, among leading members of the organization. Results: Three categories were obtained: Food management (main aim of the organization), biosecurity management (produced by the COVID-19 pandemic) and organizational dynamics (internal and external processes). These categories represent, in a first approximation, the situational reality of comedores autogestionarios or organizations with the same aim, in it during the obligatory social immobilization implemented by the Peruvian State.El presente artículo tiene como objetivo evaluar los efectos sobre los comedores autogestionarios de la actual pandemia COVID-19. Para ello, se basa en la información recogida en un estudio preliminar sobre la situación de los comedores autogestionarios en el contexto de la pandemia COVID-19. El carácter del estudio fue exploratorio y descriptivo; utilizando el método de la teoría fundamentada, se inició con las categorías organización y bioseguridad. La técnica de entrevistas a profundidad mediante llamadas telefónicas y reuniones virtuales fue utilizada para aplicar el cuestionario semiestructurado. La unidad básica de análisis fue la organización del comedor autogestionario ubicado en Lima Metropolitana y perteneciente a la CONAMOVIDI. El caso estuvo constituido por cinco miembros, entre socias dirigentes de la organización. Resultados: Se obtuvieron tres categorías: La gestión alimentaria (objetivo principal de la organización), la gestión de la bioseguridad (producido por la pandemia COVID-19) y la dinámica organizacional (procesos internos y externos).
