Interculturality refers to the presence and equal interaction of diverse cultures and the possibility of generating shared cultural expressions, acquired through dialogue and an attitude of mutual respect. Within this framework, we will discuss the guidelines proposed by the Ministry of Education (MINEDU) that enable the implementation of an educational policy with a more effective intercultural approach, as well as its relationship with the use of native languages. In the first part, there is a brief description of the universities categorized as intercultural in Peru ; secondly, there is an exposition of the legal bases on the treatment of languages in higher education with an intercultural approach ; thirdly, there is a presentation of the axes that will contribute to the adequate implementation of this approach ; and finally, the efforts of application of three guidelines in a pioneer university: the National Intercultural University of the Amazon (UNIA) will be briefly shown . In terms of methodology, the technique used is documentary, based on legal codes and management documents of intercultural universities. It is concluded that it is important to redefine how the design of a university with intercultural projection is being applied. |

Bajo este marco, discutimos los lineamientos propuestos por el Ministerio de Educación (Minedu) que posibilitan la implementación de una política educativa con enfoque intercultural más efectiva; además de su relación con el uso de lenguas originarias. En la primera parte, se presenta una breve descripción de las universidades categorizadas como interculturales en el Perú; en segundo lugar, se exponen las bases legales sobre el tratamiento de lenguas en la educación superior con enfoque intercultural; en tercer lugar, se desarrolla una presentación de los ejes que contribuirán con la adecuada implementación de este enfoque y, finalmente, se muestran brevemente los esfuerzos de aplicación de tres lineamientos en una universidad pionera: la Universidad Nacional Intercultural de la Amazonía (UNIA). Nesse contexto, discutiremos as diretrizes propostas pelo Ministério da Educação (MINEDU) que permitem a implementação de uma política educacional com uma abordagem intercultural mais eficaz, bem como sua relação com o uso de idiomas nativos. Na primeira parte, será apresentada uma breve descrição das universidades categorizadas como interculturais no Peru; em segundo lugar, serão apresentadas as bases legais sobre o tratamento de idiomas no ensino superior com enfoque intercultural; em terceiro lugar, será desenvolvida uma apresentação dos eixos que contribuirão para a implementação adequada desse enfoque; e, por fim, serão apresentados brevemente os esforços de aplicação de três diretrizes em uma universidade pioneira: a Universidade Nacional Intercultural da Amazônia (UNIA).
