The instrument chosen for measuring the independent variable, organizational climate, was a 40-item questionnaire; on the other hand, the dependent variable, job performance, was measured through the performance evaluation sheet used by the company. The statistical software IBM SPSS 25.0 was used for the analysis. The general hypothesis was accepted and had a correlation value of 0.953, meaning a very high positive correlation and determining that there is a highly significant relation between organizational climate and the workers' job performance. It can be concluded that a good organizational climate helps achieve a better worker performance. In addition, the relevant correlations leading to an improvement in the mining company's organizational climate have been identified.El presente artículo tiene como objetivo general determinar la relación entre el clima laboral y el desempeño de los trabajadores en el caso de Shougang Hierro Perú, Marcona, 2019-2021. La investigación es de tipo correlacional y el diseño no experimental. Con una población de 150 trabajadores, se consideró una muestra de 120 personas, y como instrumentos se utilizó un cuestionario de 40 preguntas para la variable independiente clima organizacional y para la variable dependiente, desempeño laboral, se hizo uso de la hoja de evaluación de desempeño usado por la empresa. Para el análisis se empleó el software estadístico IBM SPSS 25.0. La hipótesis general fue aceptada con una correlación de 0.953, el valor obtenido muestra una correlación positiva muy alta, determinando que existe una relación significativa alta entre el clima organizacional y el desempeño laboral de los trabajadores.
