The Faculty of Medicine created a proposal of the Dean and by unanimous agreement of the Board of Professors of January 24, 1957, the Department for Education and Graduate Internship, giving an important step in the development of the program for effective reform of medical estudics is underway. The old saying that claims that the Doctor is the eternal student, is the expression of a truth which was met by simple individual effort when the frontiers of knowledge seemed accessible or nearby. The magnitude and speed of the new contributions of research today makes it difficult for the simple personal effort isolated to maintain a constant information such as to allow each professional constantly renew their knowledge.
