In our exhibition, we will analyze two theatrical performances that will allow us to understand how the perceptions and discourses of those defeated or affected by the internal armed conflict are articulated. The first play is The Student (2013) by Grupo Solsticio Teatro, framed in the characteristic group theater with epic elements. The second work to be analyzed is Love in times of anger (2014) by Eddy Martínez, a tragic and practically silent piece, for which the entire representation is concentrated on the body. El conflicto armado que atravesó nuestro país entre las décadas de 1980 y 2000 marcó no solo nuestra historia social y política, sino también nuestra creación artística. Las obras de teatro representadas en y sobre esta época han sido analizadas desde diversas perspectivas alrededor de lo que se ha conocido como “teatro de la violencia” o “teatro del conflicto”. En nuestra exposición, analizaremos dos representaciones teatrales que nos permitirán comprender cómo se articulan las percepciones y discursos de los vencidos o afectados por el conflicto armado interno. La primera obra es El estudiante (2013) del Grupo Solsticio Teatro, enmarcada en el característico teatro de grupo con elementos épicos.
