| Sumario: | The present study aimed to identify the influence of critical thinking on the academic performance of students of Social Sciences and Socio-Cultural Promotion of Education, from the Jorge Basadre Grohmann National University, Tacna, 2024. This research was carried out under a quantitative approach, and is classified as basic, explanatory in nature and with a causal explanatory design. The data collection process was carried out by applying the Watson Critical Thinking Test. The sample consisted of 149 students, selected through a probabilistic sample. The results showed that there is an influence of critical thinking Ῠ= 0.102x + 8.129, (p= 0.000). Keywords: critical thinking. Academic performance. Analysis |
