In order to construct the electoral profile index, factor analysis is used, which takes into account the difference between what the reader expects and what he/she perceives in the electoral process. This study establishes the main determinants of the voter's decision process in Metropolitan Lima and then constructs an indicator of the corresponding electoral profile.¿Por qué el lector vota como vota? La satisfacción del elector al elegir un candidato engloba una serie de indicadores y hace que esta variable tenga una naturaleza multidimensional. Para construir el índice del perfil electoral se utiliza el análisis de factores el cual toma en cuenta la diferencia entre lo que el lector espera y lo que percibe en el proceso electoral.
