The Faculty of Economic Engineering, Statistics and Social Sciences pays tribute to his memory and to the man who was the driving force behind GIECO and a member of the Advisory Board of the scientific journal IECOS published by our faculty. Born in Lima on February 16, 1947, he was an industrial engineer from UNI and holds a PhD in economics from the University of Grenoble, France.Gonzalo García Nuñez ha partido en el viaje al infinito el 8 de enero de este año a los 76 años de edad, dejando como legado una extensa ejecutoría profesional y ciudadana y un ejemplo de probidad en el ejercicio de la función pública. La Facultad de Ingeniería Económica, Estadística y Ciencias Sociales rinde homenaje a su memoria y a quien fuera impulsor del GIECO y miembro del Consejo Consultivo de la revista científica IECOS que publica nuestra facultad.
