Sumario:Stress significantly affects the work of healthcare professionals, leading to weakness, decreased job satisfaction, and compromised physical and mental health, even posing a high risk of developing psychosomatic disorders. The study employed a qualitative approach, using a narrative review to analyze stress and lifestyle. For this purpose, various academic databases such as Scopus and Google Scholar were reviewed, using the keywords “stress” and “lifestyle.” The results showed that workplace stress in healthcare professionals requires a holistic approach that combines healthy organizational environments with healthy lifestyles to safeguard their physical and mental well-being. Furthermore, healthcare staff depend on healthy organizational environments and healthy lifestyles to mitigate the impact of workplace stress. In this sense, the article provides conceptual and methodological elements that support the relationship betweenstress and lifestyle in healthcare professionals, offering valuable insights to enrich research in this field.
