Sumario:The environment is internalized by individuals in different ways; some easily perceive the world visually, others retain more information by listening, and some learn by making movements—corresponding to visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles, respectively. The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between learning styles and academic performance of English students at UNAT in 2022. To achieve this, a survey was applied to 84 students from the subjects of Forest and Environmental Engineering, Food Industry Engineering, and Civil Engineering. First, the survey identified their learning styles, then a test measured their conceptual and procedural performance, and a checklist assessed their attitudinal performance. The results showed that 42.86% of students have a visual learning style, 41.67% have a kinesthetic learning style, and 15.48% have an auditory learning style. In conclusion, a significant relationship was found between each learning style and academic performance.
