For the first variable, a sample of 13 educational institutions of the initial level of the network 01, 66 teachers, 13 managers and 13 administrative personnel, for the second variable a checklist was used through documentary analysis. The results indicated that emotional intelligence is significantly related to school management commitments, so it is concluded that the correlation is significant and reaches a level of 0.821 that corresponds to a high positive correlation level.El objetivo del trabajo de investigación fue demostrar cómo se relaciona la inteligencia emocional con los compromisos de gestión escolar en el personal directivo del Nivel Inicial, Red 1, UGEL Ventanilla Callao, 2018. La metodología empleada fue descriptiva correlacional. Para la recolección de datos se elaboraron dos instrumentos. Para la primera variable, una muestra de 13 instituciones educativas del nivel inicial de la red 01, 66 docentes, 13 directivos y 13 personales administrativos; para la segunda variable se utilizó una lista de cotejo a través de análisis documental.
