Professional position of the woman in the management of public educational institutions in the secondary level of city of Huánuco

The research work had as aim, to know the level of the professional position of the women in the directive management of Public Educational Institutions. It was designed a simple descriptive study with 20 heads of seven Educational Institutions of the secondary level of the city of Huánuco, during the year 2008. The information was obtained through a questionnaire that is related with the professional level position of the women in the directive management. The results demonstrate a limited number of women occupy managing charges, that represents a 29 % only. it was concludes that the professional position of the woman in the managing charges in the city of Huánuco is limited; due to certain obstacles, such as: social leadership, discrimination, among others.
